Obesity Treatment & Medical Weight Loss Treatments
Gastric Balloon (Non-Surgical Weight Loss)
The gastric balloon is a safe, non-surgical procedure designed for individuals aiming to lose approximately 10–25% of their body weight. A soft silicone balloon is placed in the stomach via endoscopy and filled with saline, helping patients feel full sooner and reduce calorie intake.
Before the procedure, a comprehensive medical and nutritional assessment is performed. The outpatient procedure takes about 20 minutes, and patients return home the same day. The balloon remains in place for six months, during which dietary guidance and lifestyle coaching continue remotely. Removal is quick and uncomplicated.
Travel planning: A stay of 2–3 days in Greece is recommended.
Cost: From €2,400.
If the patient proceeds with treatment, the cost of the video consultation is deducted from the total price.
Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty (ESG)
Endoscopic Sleeve Gastroplasty is a minimally invasive weight-loss procedure that reduces stomach volume without surgical incisions. Using endoscopic suturing, the stomach is reshaped to limit food intake and appetite. ESG is typically recommended for patients with a BMI between 30 and 40.
The procedure lasts approximately 60–90 minutes under sedation. Most patients stay one night in the clinic and resume light activities within a few days. Long-term follow-up includes nutritional guidance and psychological support.
Travel planning: A 5-day stay is recommended, including follow-up.
Cost: From €5,900.
The video consultation fee is deducted if the patient proceeds with treatment.
Medical Weight Loss Program (Multidisciplinary)
This multidisciplinary program offers a personalized, non-invasive approach to sustainable weight loss. It combines medical evaluation, nutritional planning, psychological support, exercise guidance, and—when appropriate—pharmacological treatment such as GLP-1 agonists.
The program begins with a teleconsultation and laboratory testing, followed by an in-clinic kickoff visit in Greece. Ongoing follow-up is provided remotely by specialized physicians, with continuous monitoring to ensure safety and long-term results. No downtime is required.
Travel planning: A stay of 2–4 days for program initiation; follow-ups are conducted via telemedicine.
Cost: From €650.
The video consultation fee is deducted if the patient proceeds with the program.
