LASIK Eye Surgery

LASIK (Laser-Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis) is a laser vision correction procedure used to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. A thin flap is created on the cornea and the underlying tissue is reshaped with a laser to improve vision and reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses.

Before the procedure, you will have a detailed eye assessment to confirm suitability. The treatment is typically quick and performed with topical anesthetic drops. Temporary dryness or light sensitivity may occur during the first days of recovery.

Travel planning: Most patients can fly within 48 hours, but a 3-day stay in Greece is recommended for comfort and follow-up.

Cost: From €1,200 per eye.
The cost of the video consultation is fully deducted from the total treatment price if you proceed with the surgery.

Cataract Surgery
Cataract surgery removes the cloudy natural lens and replaces it with a clear intraocular lens (IOL). It is a well-established procedure with high success rates and typically results in a significant improvement in vision.

A comprehensive eye evaluation is carried out before treatment. The procedure is outpatient and performed under local anesthesia. Visual improvement usually begins within the first days. Post-operative follow-up is an essential part of recovery.

Travel planning: A minimum 4-day stay is recommended to include check-ups.

Cost: From €1,500 per eye.
The video consultation fee is deducted from the final treatment cost if the patient proceeds with surgery.

Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)
Blepharoplasty is an outpatient procedure that removes excess skin and, when necessary, repositions fat to improve the appearance and function of the eyelids. In addition to aesthetic benefits, it may improve the visual field in patients with heavy or drooping eyelids.

A detailed facial and ophthalmic assessment is performed before surgery. The procedure typically lasts 30–60 minutes. Recovery usually involves mild swelling and bruising for about one week, with no bandages required.

Travel planning: A stay of 5–7 days is recommended to allow proper healing before air travel.

Cost: From €1,800 (upper and lower lids).
If the patient proceeds with surgery, the cost of the video consultation is deducted from the total treatment price.
